Location

The Sidewalk Film Center is located in the heart of downtown Birmingham’s historic theatre district in the newly restored Pizitz Building, located at 1821 2nd Ave. N. Birmingham, AL 35203. We are easily accessible from I-65, I-20/59, Hwy 31 and Hwy 280. The Pizitz Building has a parking garage with entrance and exit on 18th St N.

The Sidewalk Film Center + Cinema is a KultureCity certified venue. Check-in with our box office staff for a KultureCity bag, headphones, lap pad or other accommodations.

The Sidewalk Film Center + Cinema meets or exceeds all ADA standards.

The Sidewalk Film Center + Cinema is a beautiful, 11,400 square foot facility conveniently located in The Pizitz Building, in the heart of downtown Birmingham’s historic theatre district. The venue offers two state-of-the-art theaters (one is fully equipped to host hybrid meetings and live stream events), one multi-function room, two attractive lounges, and a large bar area.
