Lockjaw centers around Rayna, whom has had her jaw wired shut after a drunk driving accident and is dealing with the aftermath. After several weeks, she embarks on a night out with her companion and meets a couple who dabbles in art and magic. The evening takes an unexpected turn when Rayna is forced to deal with internal struggles with self-reproach and dysfunction. The film explores guilt, addiction, relationship challenges and personal growth.
