Under the Mountain Presents: Anguish (1987) with Q&A

The eyes of the city are mine.

Bigas Luna

An ophthalmologist’s assistant (Michael Lerner) with an unhealthy interest in human eyeballs goes on a killing spree to collect more for his overbearing, telepathic mother’s collection (played by Zelda Rubinstein of Poltergeist fame). When her son decides to hunt for prey among the aisles of a busy movie theater, everything soon takes a bizarre turn, both for the killer and the audience. As clever as it is gruesome, Anguish is a darkly comedic tour de force that’s an experience unlike any you’ll find playing in a movie theater today. *PLEASE NOTE: This film is unrated, but only ages 17+ will be admitted*
