Since its inception, the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) has been a pivotal organization in providing career development opportunities for Black journalists, students, and communications professionals globally. As a leading advocate for Black media professionals, NABJ has ensured that its members have a voice in the global news media landscape. On the eve of NABJ's 50th anniversary, this film tells the story of the courageous 44 founders and enduring impact they’ve had on the media profession. There will be a post film discussion with the filmmaking team and the Bimingham Association of Black Journalists.
