SHOUT Movie Night is a film series presented and curated by BAO (Birmingham AIDS Outreach) in conjunction with Sidewalk Film Center + Cinema. Our goal is to offer a diverse and inclusive film series that ensures all members of our community are represented. Please arrive an hour early for a pre-screening event and stay for a post-screening event both in the lobby. *This is a free event. Reservations are strongly recommended but not required. Seating is first come, first served*Film Synopsis: Unpopular best friends PJ and Josie start a high school self-defense club to meet girls and lose their virginity. They soon find themselves in over their heads when the most popular students start beating each other up in the name of self-defense.

Film Selection by The Bevy: The Bevy exists to provide space for queer women, trans & non-binary folks to network and socialize as well as engage with their local community. We believe in the power of chosen family, and we value the spirit of intentional, radical hospitality in creating opportunities for connection and growth. We celebrate the value of diversity and inclusion in building a strong community and a meaningful sense of belonging.
