Technology & Technique Workshops offer a chance to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of a filmmaking professional. Each workshop focuses on a specific aspect of the creative and technical process of making a film. Technology & Technique Workshops occur quarterly. April 5th, 2017: Episodic Storytelling with Morgan Jon Fox

Join us for a workshop focusing on episodic storytelling with filmmaker Morgan Jon Fox! Part of Sidewalk’s year-round Technology & Technique Workshops series.

Morgan Jon Fox has built a career in film through telling small, personal Southern stories. In this workshop, he’ll talk about how he first began making films, and how this evolved over 15 years to his most recent Episodic project, Feral. He’ll breakdown the very unorthodox manner in which he approaches story building and scriptwriting, and discuss his organic approach to working with mostly non-professional actors. Fox will detail his very intimate and detailed approach to developing and producing episodic content, and will be getting the audience involved in the exciting technique he uses in working with his actors.

Bring your lunch for this FREE brown bag-style workshop.
