Join us for Book + Film Club! Each month, we will read a book related to the craft of filmmaking or a literary work that has been adapted to a film. At the end of the month we will meet to watch a related film and then discuss! Our September 2023 session will focus on the life and films of Pedro Almodóvar, among other directors, in Gay Directors, Gay Films? We will watch his first mainstrean success, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown/ Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios, winner of 5 Goya awards - Spain's highest film honor. THIS FILM WILL BE SUBTILED. Registration Deadline Sept 8.
