Our Film 101 series is just like film school without the annoying fear of unemployment. Every month features an important, influential film from a different decade, moving from 1903 in January to 2021 in December. Film screenings include links to additional resources to help historically and culturally contextualize the featured film. Film Synopsis: A television network cynically exploits a deranged former anchor's ravings and revelations about the news media for its own profit, but finds that his message may be difficult to control.
