Black Lens: Defending Freedom: The Arthur Shores Story (Free!)

Joel Evans

Attorney Arthur Shores took the fight for equality and justice to the courtroom, winning many cases leading up to the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Shore’s daughter Barbara, Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin, former Alabama Senator Doug Jones, President of Talladega College Gregory Vincent and former Alabama 10th Judicial Circuit Judge Houston Brown reflect on the monumental impact of Shores’ legacy.
